115 days. NON-GMO, OPEN POLLINATED, HEIRLOOM.

Originating in Appalachia around the late 1800s. Huge yellow kernels not seen in modern corn. Stalks provide good support for pole beans. Tight husks help keep out beetles and corn worms. Does well in most soils. Excellent for roasting, grits, hominy meal, and cornuts. High leafy green matter which makes it perfect for silage.

Because it's an heirloom corn, "Hickory King" is only available in a couple of non-white varieties. This variety, called "Hickory King Yellow" or just "Yellow Hickory," produces yellow kernels that are extra-large. These plants can be 12 feet tall, with each stalk producing two ears. WOW!
