The Corno di Toro pepper is an old Italian Heirloom sweet pepper. Its' name literally translates to “horn of the bull”, or “bull’s horn”, so named because of its' shape. It is also sometimes referred to as “Cowhorn” pepper. It is a long, 8-inch pod that is tapered, has a horn-like shape with excellent flavor.
This is another one of my favorites that I grow every year. Their thick, crunchy flesh rich in sugars dazzles with outstanding taste and surprises with record-breaking vitamin C content, surpassing even that of citrus fruit!
