Orange Swiss Chard is a great ornamental vegetable. Don't just plant it in the garden though, add some in the landscaping. These bright orange stalks will spice up any area, and they grow abundantly throughout the whole summer season. This variety produces dark green leaves on bright orange stems.
Plants do well in zones 6 and up. When planting for harvest, allow 55 days before harvesting the stems, and do so by taking them off the plant individually for a harvest all summer long. The taste of these leaves is very similar to spinach. Fun!
